Alfredo sauce pasta

Alfredo Sauce is rich, creamy, and packed with garlic parmesan flavor! This Alfredo Sauce is easy to make cooking pasta -and perfect with your favorite pasta.!This recipe really stands out to me because of the incredible flavor.pasta alfredo is a creamy pasta made with mixed veggies .In this pasta Recipe i have used a mix of onion ,carrot , tomatoes.you can add any veggies of your choice .I am sharing an easy method where i have cooked the veggies in a pan and then added the cooked pasta to them .

For the pasta you can use a any variety of pasta like penne pasta,macaroni,rigatoni and farfalle .

Cook time : 20 mins

Total time : 40 mins

Ingredients –

For cooking pasta –

  • macaroni pasta – 1 cup
  • water – 4 cups
  • Salt – 1 tsp

For making pasta –

  • Butter – 1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped garlic – 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped carrot – 1/2 cup
  • Chopped tomatoes – 1/ 2 cup
  • Chopped onion – 1/2 cup
  • Salt as required

For alfredo pasta sauce –

  • Butter – 1 tsp
  • Plain flour -2 tsp
  • Garlic – 1 tsp
  • Low fat cream – 1/2 cup
  • Cheddar cheese 1/4 cup
  • Parmesan cheese – 2 tbsp
  • Seasoning oregano – 1 tsp
  • Chilli flakes- 1 tsp

Directions –

For making alfredo sauce –

  • Add butter and garlic to a saute pan and heat over low heat. Then add flour and stir for a minute. Allow to cook until the flour and butter is infused with the garlic, about 5 minutes.
  • Add 1 cup of heavy cream, stir, and allow to come to a simmer. Increase heat to medium, if needed. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and immediately add in parmesan cheese and remaining heavy cream. Remove from heat and immediately add in parmesan cheese and remaining heavy cream.Alfredo sauce is ready .
  • For seasoning add oregano and chilli flakes .

For making pasta-

  • Heat butter in a pan and add garlic in a medium low flame .
  • Saute for some seconds till the raw aroma of garlic goes away .
  • Add chopped onions ,carrots , tomatoes.chopped veggies finally so that they can cook fast .
  • Add salt as required and stir all ingredients .
  • Add water as required.stir and mix again .
  • Cover the pan with lid and simmer the veggie mixture on medium – low to medium flame till the veggies are almost cooked .
  • Stir and mix well
  • Add the alfredo sauce and cook for a while .
  • Alfredo pasta is ready to serve .Garnished with chopped coariander or parsley .

Note :

  • You can add bell peppers also in your veggies .
  • Alfredo sauce does not heat well in microwave. If reheating alfredo sauce on it’s own, allow for it to come to room temperature and then add hot pasta or vegetables to the sauce. That should warm it enough. If necessary, you can reheat in the microwave on low power. Do not over heat.

Wheat Appe Chocolate Muffins

Wheat chocolate muffins ( Appam pan recipe )

Appe chocolate muffins ,a marvelous creation to spice up your day .vanilla essence when combined with cocoa powder ,enhances the chocolate flavour .The relishing flavour and amazing aroma of appe chocolate muffins is just mouth watering .

Total time : 10 mins

Servings : 20 muffins

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat flour – 1 Cup
  • Powdered sugar – 1 1/2 Cup
  • Milk – 1/2 Cup
  • Cocoa powder – 4 tbsp
  • Butter/ Ghee – 1 Cup
  • Yogurt (Curd ) – 2 tbsp
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
  • Pinch of salt

Decorations :

  • Powdered sugar
  • Coloured fruties

How to make chocolate appe muffins :

  • In a bowl add wheat flour ,cocoa powder,baking powder,baking soda ,and salt mix well and keep aside.
  • In a separate bowl take melted butter,curd,and powdered sugar and make a mixture by whisking or beating in one direction till the mixture turns smooth and creamy .
  • Then add vanilla extract and mix well .
  • Add the prepared sieved plain flour- cocoa mixture .beat in one direction .
  • Now add milk and mix 2-3 mins to attain smooth dropping consistency ( remove all lumps from the batter ) .whisk in one direction only .
  • Now place in appam stand on the gas ,cook it on slow flame for 30 seconds,and cover with a lid.
  • After 30 seconds open and the lid and check the muffins.off the flame and remove the appam pan from makes.
  • Check the muffins by turns other side of muffins ( turns carefully otherwise it may break ) .
  • Again put appam pan on gas flame and bake it for 15-20 seconds ,cover with a lid .
  • Open the lid ,and check the muffins with a toothpick or knife,if the toothpick comes out clean,then your muffins is completely baked.
  • Let it cool down for a while and then take it out from the pan and transfer it to a plate .
  • Appam chocolate muffins is ready sprinkle powdered sugar and coloured fruties and serve it as a dessert.

Tips :

  • You can also add eggs in batter.
  • If you are preserving this cake for a week or so, use oil instead of butter.

Paneer 65 Recipe

This recipe is very simple.It is a spicy yet irresistibly delicious snack prepared by deep-frying spicy paste coated paneer cubes. It has dry texture and can be served as starter, appetizer, snack or accompaniment.

It uses varieties of Indian spices and combination of cornflour, all purpose flour and curd to get its signature tongue tickling usually in paneer 65 ,there is no gravy its a dry dish .you can serve paneer 65 with some chapatis ,naan or tandoori roti.

Preparation Time : 30 mins

Cooking Time : 25 mins

Serves : 3 to 4

Ingredients:

  • Paneer – 200 grams
  • Oil – 5 tbsp for frying
  • Rice flour – 3 tbsp
  • Besan ( gram flour) – 1 tbsp
  • Corn starch – 2 tbsp
  • Green chilli paste – 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Ginger paste – 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Garma masala powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Lime juice or vinegar – 1 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Water as needed

For Paneer 65 :

  • Chopped onion – 1
  • Green chillies – 2 to 3
  • Chopped ginger – 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped garlic – 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds ( sarso rai) – 1/2 tsp
  • Oil -2 tbsp
  • Salt as required

Directions

  • Cut paneer into bite size cubes.
  • Take rice flour,besan( gram flour),corn starch in a bowl mix all together .
  • Now add the green chilli paste,ginger paste,garlic paste ,red chilli powder,garam masala ,lime juice,and salt as required.
  • Now add water ,whisk to a smooth paste,you can also add a few drops of orange colour extract .
  • Add the paneer cubes.
  • Gently mix the paneer cubes with the batter and allow to marinate for about 10 -15 mins.

For frying paneer 65 :

  • Heat 5 tbsp oil in a pan ,oil should be in medium flame ,coat the paneer cubes in the batter and add them to the hot oil .
  • Keep some space between the paneer cubes so that they Don’t stick .
  • Once the one side is done ,flip and fry the other side .
  • Fry the paneer cubes till the outside becomes crisp and golden .
  • Drain the fried paneer cubes on paper to remove excess oil.

For making paneer 65

  • In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil add mustard seeds.after it crackle,add chopped ginger, chopped garlic,green chillies,and stir well.
  • Then add chopped onions ,stir and saute the onions till they become translucent.
  • Add salt as required, stir well and add the fried paneer cubes .
  • Mix the paneer cubes with the sauted ingredients.switch off the flame .
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot .

Sabudana khichdi /Tapioca Sago

I’m sharing a simple and very famous breakfast recipe to all of you.

Sabudana khichdi is an indian dish .It is simple to cook and delicious to eat .sabudana khichdi is a no onion no garlic dish .It is frequently made when observing a fast during hindu festivals And in festivals salt is also replaced with sendha Namak.

Sabudana is made from the extract of the Tapioca Root.The addition of peanuts in sabudana khichdi gives crunchy flavours. !

We absolutely love it with a simple side of chilled yogurt and spicy green chillies .simple pleasures of life.!

Ingredients for Sabudana khichdi

  • 1 cup soaked Sabudana / sago / Tapioca pearls .
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 2 medium size boiled,peeled and cubed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup roughly crushed potatoes
  • Salt to taste ( sendha namak for fast)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • A pinch of Turmeric and red chilli powder.
  • Green chilly for garnish.

Directions

    • Wash the Sabudana (Tapioca Pearls) with water 4-5 times till the water runs clear, then drain the water. Soak the Sabudana for 5-8 hours or overnight.
    • Heat oil in a pan and add Cumin Seeds (Jeera) ,green chillies, peanuts to the pan .
    • Roast all of them for a couple of minutes on medium flame .
    • Then add boiled cubed potatoes.
    • Add A pinch of Turmeric Powder & Red Chilli Powder to the pan and
      cook for a few seconds.
    • Add the sabudana pearls to the mixture and gently mix with a fork.Cover the pan with a lid and let the sabudana khichdi cook for 3-5 minutes. The sabudana will start to become translucent as they cook.
    • Sabudana Khichdi is ready.Add a lemon juice and Garnish with chopped coriander if you want with green chilly.serve it hot.

This is my first delicious cake post hope you like it .

Ingredients

50 gm butter

1 cup flour

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp orange extract

1/2 cup orange juice with pulp

1 1/2 tsp baking soda

1 cup milk

Directions

  • Mix the butter and sugar in a bowl with a spoon.
  • Then beat the mixture till it becomes fluffy.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, orange juice, baking soda,orange extract and the milk.
  • Mix it all together into a smooth batter.
  • Stand this bowl in a pan of water and bake in a pre-heated oven for 30-40 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius.
  • Garnish with orange slices and serve.
